Unable to Find a Driver for ACPIMSFT0101
Device Details:
Opening the Device Manager in Windows 7 will reveal the device details as "ACPIMSFT0101" with the status "This device corresponds to the TPM module which does not have a driver."
Driver Availability:
There are no available drivers for the ACPIMSFT0101 device in Windows 7 32-bit. If you switch to Windows 7 64-bit, you can install a hotfix, but it is only compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
Intel Management Engine Drivers:
Intel has released Management Engine Drivers for Windows 10 and Windows 11. These drivers may not resolve the ACPIMSFT0101 issue in Windows 7, but they are recommended for the latest Intel platforms.
Hotfix for Windows 7:
Microsoft has released a hotfix that adds support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. However, it is not specifically designed to address the ACPIMSFT0101 issue.
