Six Flags Great America is getting ready to unveil a new addition to its thrilling lineup of rides: The Wrath of Rakshasa. This highly anticipated dive coaster is set to break records as the steepest and most inverted coaster of its kind in the world.

According to Six Flags Great America Park President John Krajnak, the Wrath of Rakshasa will feature:

  • A 90-degree drop, the steepest on any dive coaster
  • Five inversions, including a barrel roll, raven dive, and zero-g roll
  • A maximum speed of 70 mph
  • A 140-foot-tall tower
  • A 2,800-foot-long track

The Wrath of Rakshasa is scheduled to open in 2025 and will be located in the park's Mardi Gras section. The investment in this new attraction reflects Six Flags' commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences.
