Mortal Kombat 1’s Second Year of DLC Begins
Last month, NetherRealm Studios announced Mortal Kombat 11 would be moving onto its second year of post-launch DLC, and now, the first character from Kombat Pack 2 has been revealed.
Hailing from Earthrealm, the Lin Kuei warrior Cyrax will be joining the fight when Kombat Pack 2 launches on November 19, and a new gameplay trailer gives us our first look at the returning fighter.
Cyrax hasn’t been seen in the Mortal Kombat series since Mortal Kombat X, where he appeared as a DLC character.
New Abilities in Mortal Kombat 11
In Mortal Kombat 11, Cyrax retains many of his classic abilities, such as his zoning tools and his ability to create bombs.
However, he also has some new abilities, such as the ability to teleport and the ability to create a force field.
Cyrax is a welcome addition to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, and his unique abilities will surely make him a popular choice among players.
Khaos Reigns Features
In addition to Cyrax, Kombat Pack 2 will also include new skins, gear, and other cosmetic items.
It will also include a new story expansion called Khaos Reigns.
Khaos Reigns will feature reimagined stories and gameplay for Klassic Kombatants Noob Saibot and Shang Tsung.

- Cyrax vs Sektor
Khaos Reigns will be available to purchase separately or as part of Kombat Pack 2.
